I'm Dan. I work in performance marketing and e-commerce operations.

My day job is running paid campaigns and looking after online shops. That means I spend a lot of time on product pages, spec sheets, pricing and conversion numbers, and I have seen how far marketing copy can drift from what a product actually does.

DanPicks is where I use that habit for buyers. I pick a product category, read what the manufacturer claims, check it against independent measurements and user reviews, and write down which product suits which person. I say plainly which products I would skip.
